Ian U. Roederer

I am an astronomer at the University of Michigan.  I study some of the oldest stars in the Milky Way Galaxy.  The chemistry of these stars tells us about the formation of our Galaxy, how stars evolve, and the synthesis of the atoms that constitute ourselves and the Universe around us.
